REFUND POLICY

lu4.org — LU4 Platform
Last updated: 27 July 2026

This Policy explains when and on what terms you may obtain a refund for purchases made on the LU4 Platform.

This Policy is issued by, and is the responsibility of, the Platform Operator — a legal entity incorporated under the law of England and Wales and identified in the preamble to the Platform Terms of Use, whose details also apply to this Policy. The Operator is also the Merchant of Record for purchases to which this Policy applies.

1. Terms Used in This Policy

"Right of Withdrawal"
the right, provided for by applicable consumer protection law (for consumers in the United Kingdom, in particular the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013), to withdraw from a contract within a specified period without giving a reason.
"Immediate Provision"
the supply of digital content or a service immediately upon payment, without waiting for the withdrawal period to end.
"Withdrawal Period"
the period (typically 14 calendar days) during which a consumer may exercise the Right of Withdrawal.

2. Scope of This Policy

2.1. Applicability

This Policy applies to all Paid Digital Services available on the Platform, including the purchase of Virtual Currency, Account premium status, and other paid features.

3. The Nature of Purchases on the Platform

3.1. Digital Content

All Paid Digital Services are digital content or services not supplied on a tangible medium, and are provided immediately or within a few minutes of successful payment.

3.2. Virtual Currency Purchase Rate

The rate at which Virtual Currency may be purchased for real money is set by the Operator at its own discretion and is published in the Platform store before the time of purchase. This is a purchase rate; Virtual Currency is not exchangeable back into real money and has no monetary value outside the Platform (see clause 20 of the Terms of Use and the RMT prohibition, clause 29 of the Terms of Use).

4. Right to Withdraw From the Contract

4.1. When the Right Applies

If you are a consumer with a mandatory Right of Withdrawal during the Withdrawal Period, that right applies to your purchase unless you expressly consented to Immediate Provision and confirmed the loss of the Right of Withdrawal.

4.2. Form of Confirmation of Loss of the Right

Confirmation is given as a separate, clearly worded checkbox during checkout, distinct from general acceptance of the Terms of Use.

5. Purchases That Are Final

5.1. General Rule

Outside the Right of Withdrawal, purchased Virtual Currency and Virtual Items are non-refundable once credited to the Account.

6. Random Reward Mechanics

6.1. Current Status

As of the date this Policy was last updated, the Platform does not offer the purchase of items or bonuses with a random outcome. If such mechanics are introduced in the future, the probability-disclosure requirements set out in the Terms of Use will apply.

7. Non-Delivery of Service and Erroneous Payments

7.1. Non-Delivery of Service

If a paid Paid Digital Service was not delivered due to a technical fault on the Platform's side, you are entitled to a refund or to have the service provided again.

7.2. Erroneous and Duplicate Payments

Payments made in error or duplicated are refunded in full once the error has been confirmed.

7.3. Time Limit for Handling a Request

The Operator handles refund requests within 14 calendar days of receiving the complete set of information required for review.

8. Recurring (Subscription) Payments

8.1. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring charge at any time through the Account dashboard.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

9.1. Procedure

Before initiating a chargeback, please contact Platform support to resolve the matter directly.

10. Governing Law and Contacts

10.1. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the law of England and Wales, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.
